Arizona Brown Recluse Spider

(Loxoeceles arizonica)

The color is brown although the abdomen is gray. There is a violin-like marking on the front half of the body. The brown spiders have three pairs of eyes, arranged in a crescent shape on the top of the head.
Most spiders have four pairs of eyes. This is a fastidious spider, their web appears as a milky-white silk and are found under things in the desert.
The spider is not aggressive,  but responds to being squeezed.
These spiders are rarely found in the Sun Cities Arizona area.
